Weighted wheel explained

Weights change probability by changing each entry’s share of the total weight. The wheel visual, probability panel, and receipts should all agree.

What a weight means

A weight is a relative value, not a promise of exact outcomes over a short run. An entry with weight 4 is designed to be four times as likely as an entry with weight 1.

GiveASpin turns those weights into normalized probabilities so you can see the practical effect before you spin.

When to show weights openly

If the outcome affects trust, show the weights. Hidden weighting may be fine for personal decision wheels, but it can create confusion in classrooms, communities, or giveaways.

Fair mode is designed for exactly this reason: the math is visible without flattening the product into a spreadsheet.
